Africa Safaris Bwindi Safari Tour Uganda, Trip and Vacation to Bwindi National Park
This park is located in south western Uganda on the perimeter of the western Rift valley. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is 331sqkms in size on an altitude range of 1,160m to 2,607m with temperature range of 7°C - 20°C having the coldest period in June and July.Africa Tours In the neighborhood are the intense homes of the Bakiga and Bafumbira, the most inhabited region in Uganda.

Gorilla tracking, taken as the chief tourist activity, four gorilla groups are at present accessible for every day tracking. For conservation purposes visits to gorillas are tightly controlled.
• No one with a communicable disease (e.g. Flue, Diarrhea) is allowed to enter the park
• Stay together in a tight group while with the gorillas, do not surround them.
• Do not get closer than 5 meters to the gorillas.
• Do not use flashes while photographing.
• Do not eat or smoke when while with gorillas or within a distance of 200metres from the gorillas.
• Turn away from the gorillas if you have to sneeze or cough; cover your mouth and nose in the process.
• Burry all human feaces in a minimum of one foot deep and ensure that the holeis properly covered.
• No person less than 15 years is allowed to track gorillas.
• Do not make loud noise or move suddenly.
• You are allowed a maximum of one hour with gorillas.
• Do not spit on vegetation or soil while in the park; use your hankie or other garment.
Nature Walks Bwindi

Day 1 - After breakfast, depart Kampala for Queen Elizabeth National park via the equator and Masaka, have a lunch stop in Mbarara. Day 2 - An early morning game drive on the northern parts of the park - Kasenyi track. Day 1
Morning, bird The Uganda Wildlife Education center (UWEC) home to captive animals this has attracted other over 170 species of wild birds 10 species of Weavers such as the rare Northern Masked Weaver, Northern Brown Throated, Golden Backed, Grosbeak, Black Necked, Baglafect etc 5 species of flycatchers Crested shrike flycatcher, Lead colored, Swamp flycatcher, African paradise, Red bellied etc, raptors such as the Gabar Goshawk, small banded snake Eagle, Shikra, African Goshawk, African Fish Eagle, African Hobby etc and many more species including captive animals.Uganda safaris Proceed to Botanical gardens for another birding experience. Day 2
Early breakfast and transfer to the Heritage trail a 10 minutes drive from the Airport species that may be seen include Moustached Warbler, Brown Crowned Tchargra, Brown Twin spot, Violet backed Starlings, Black Cuckoo Shrike, Red Shouldered Cuckoo Shrike, gorilla safari Yellow bill, Great sparrow hawk, Short Toed Snake Eagle, Southern Banded Snake Eagle and many more proceed to Lutembe Beach for lunch. After lunch, take on a boat in such for the papyrus Canary, Papyrus Gonolek, the thousands of Grey Headed Gulls, White Winged black Terns and continue birding the evening.

Day 3
Have an early breakfast and proceed to Mabamba swamps another Important Bird Area (IBA) with a population of about 5 Shoebills. Here most of the birding is done canoeing and other species to be seen may include African water Rail, long Toed Plover, Squacco Heron, Goliath, Purple, Grey and Black Headed Herons, Pygmy Goose, Yellow Billed Duck, White Faced Whistling Duck, Swamp Moorhen, Allen s Gallinule, Black Crake, African Jacana etc Sitatunga Antelope (swamp Antelope) and many more. Enroute to Kampala stop by another swamp this may reveal Papyrus Gonolek, White winged Warbler, Uganda hotels Yellow Crowned Bishop, Weyns Weaver, and many more have a packed lunch and continue birding the evening.

Day 4
Early breakfast and transfer to Mabira forest for mostly forest birding about an hours drive from Kampala. Species such as Toro Greenbul, Yellow whiskered Greenbul, Leaf love, Forest Robin, Buff spotted Woodpecker, Grey spotted Woodpecker, White spotted Fluff tail, Red headed Blue Bill, Yellow spotted Barbet, Grey throated Barbet, Yellow Rumped Tinker bird, Yellow Throated Tinker bird, Blue Breasted Kingfisher, African Pygmy, Shining blue, Woodland Kingfishers, Red tailed Ant Thrush, Chin spot Batis, Banded Wattle Eye, Chestnut Wattle Eye, Brown capped, Yellow mantled, Black Billed, Weyn s Weavers, Red headed Malimbe, Purple headed Starling, Violet backed Starling and many more fascinating species. Have a picnic lunch and continue birding the evening.
Return to Kampala for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 5 An early breakfast and transfer to Murchison Falls National park that boost over 450 species. It is a three-hour drive from Kampala passing through the Luwero Triangle. We stop on the way for a leg stretch which may reveal Compact Weaver, Dark Chanting Goshawk, Olive bellied, Bronze and Copper Sunbirds, Saddle billed Stork etc Proceed and stopping for lunch in Masindi Town. After lunch we continue through the park as we bird to the Top of the mighty falls were it drops 45 meters and forces its way through a 7 meter gorge. Rock Pranticoles, a mixed flock of swifts, Africa Pied Wagtail, reptiles such as Red headed Agama continue birding to your accommodation.

Day 6
Early morning breakfast and embark on a game drive species such as Silver bird, Chestnut capped Weaver, Spotted morning Thrush, Common Drongo, White Fronted Black Chat, Bruce s Green Pigeon, Black billed Dove, Vinaceous Dove, Namaqua Dove, Carmine Bee-Eater, Red Throated, Swallow Tailed Bee-Eater, Isabelline and Northern Wheatears, Shoebills, Saddle bill, Grey crowned Cranes at the Delta and other game like Cape Buffalo, Roth child s Giraffe, Jackson s Hartebeest, Elephant, Silver Backed Jackals, Lions, Kobs, Oribi and many more. Return to lunch relax and take on a boat launch to the bottom of the falls encountering Hippos, huge Nile Crocodiles and game drinking, water birds such as Lesser Jacana, White necked stork, Fulvous whistling Ducks, a variety of Herons, Egyptian Plover,Tanzania holidays Spur Winged Plover, Water Thick-Knee, Rock Pranticoles etc.
Return to Dinner and Overnight.
Day 7
Have an early morning breakfast and transfer to Kampala stopping Briefly to bird along the turn to Sambiya River Lodge species such as Martial Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Grey Headed Kingfisher, Grey Hornbill, Grey Kestrel, Helmeted and Crested Guinea fowl, Senegal Coucal may be seen. Embark on a primate walk in the Kanio Pabidi forest a sector of the Budongo forest. Chimps, Black and White Colobus, Red tailed and blue monkeys and lots of Olive Baboons may be seen. Birds like White thighed Hornbills, Black billed Turacco, Great blue and Ross s Turaccos, Afep Pigeons, African Green Pigeons, Narina s Trogon, and Nahan s Francolin may also be seen.
Proceed for lunch in Masindi and continue to Kampala for Dinner and Overnight.

TORORO ROCK
After breakfast hike the Tororo Rock hill. Tororo set 5 kms off the main Kampala-Kenya road 17 kms from the Malaba border sees few tourists. People pass through usually en-route to Mbale to go trekking on Mt. Elgon. The highest altitude of Tororo rock is 4865ft with a ramp of about 0.75 from the east to the west. Visit the familial cave and the various Rock paintings.Kenya safari Have Lunch . Then go for an afternoon Transfer to Mbale . Visit the Sippi falls . After breakfast you will visit the falls. This is the most exciting falls in East and Central Africa the reason why the park is named after the falls,Egypt tour see how and where the world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Wildlife populations have largely recovered from the poaching of the 1980s; in the lush borassus grassland to the north of the Nile, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and a variety of antelope are regularly encountered on game drives, while lion are seen with increasing frequency. After lunch, you will take a boat to the bottom of the falls. An exciting cruise with lots of hippos, the most feared Nile crocodiles, elephants and the lovely bird species along. Evening relax and listen in more of the African evening stories.

Activities include visiting the Toro Kings Palace, a palace to the youngest king ever. Visit Karambi Kings burial grounds. Lunch at the Hotel and enjoy the entertainment by the Batoro Cultural dancers. Later proceed to Crater Valley Kibale (CVK) for Dinner and overnight camp located at the mouth of Kibale National Park.

Start early for chimp tracking. Chimp tracking is done in the groups of 6.Mauritius travel Kibale forest is the most accessible of Uganda's major rainforests. Kibale is home to a remarkable 13 primate species, including the very localized red colobus and L'Hoest's monkey. Kibale's major attraction, however, is the opportunity to track habituated chimps - these delightful apes, more closely related to humans than to any other living creature, are tremendous fun to watch as they squabble and play in fruiting trees. Take lunch and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Kibale - Semliki Valley Reserve.
After breakfast the guide will brief you about your next destination and then after head North to Semliki Valley Wildlife Reserve arriving at the lodge at breaktime.Uganda Tourism Jungle life in Semliki National Park is breathtaking especially for birders, primate, and butterfly and plant lovers. The jungle walk takes one up to the meandering River Semuliki, the only one of its type in East Africa.
You may also see forest buffaloes and elephants, sitatungas, leopards, crocodiles, various primates and a wide range of forest and water birds. Visitors can also come with fishing facilities for sport fishing along the rIver. A survey carried out in 1999 by the Forest Department determined that, compared to other forest parks in Uganda, Semliki is of exceptional diversity for small mammals,Tanzania Safaris birds and butterflies. Fauna recorded include 435 bird species which is 34% of Uganda's total), some of which cannot be found elsewhere in East Africa, including some of the continent's most spectacular and sought after birds such as horn bills and lyre tailed honey guide.
There are 63 species of mammals, 9 species of which are diurnal forest primates (e.g chimpanzees, blue monkey, vervet monkeys and olive baboon), while nocturnal primates include pottos and galagos. The following species of mammals are also found in Semliki National Park : forest buffaloes, blue duiker, beecroft's flying squirrel, pigmy squirrel, little collared fruit bat, water chevrotaain and target rat.
At least 374 species of butterflies and moths have been identified including 46 species of . The key species here include the Blue-breasted Bee-Eater, Black-billed Barbet, Abyssinian Ground Hornbill, Red-necked Falcon, African Pygmy Goose, Piapiac, Leaflove and Black-chinned Quail-Finch. Take tea by the pool and watch as the Hamerkop dips into the water and the Weaver birds flock nearby. The most exciting aspect is that new species are still being discovered in the reserve. Take breakfast and go for morning Chimp tracking in the gallery forest of the Mugiri River. Leaf love are in explosion here, despite being scarce in the rest of Uganda. In the Forest you may see: Red-tailed Bristlebill, White-spotted Flufftail, Red-tailed Ant-Thrush and Blue-breasted Kingfisher.
In the late afternoon, Gorilla Safaris a game drive will divulge herds of Uganda Kob, Waterbuck, Reed Buck, several monkey species as well as lots of bird opportunities: Eastern Grey Plantain Eater, Mouse birds, White-crested Turaco, Kingfishers and Bee-Eaters, to name a few.
